What happens after I choose Genesis Exteriors?

We will:

  • Tell you the exact week your project will begin and when we anticipate it will be finished
  • Notify you the day before we start
  • Provide you with a detailed written process about how your project will be completed—from the initial day to your final walkthrough inspection
  • Obtain all required permits, order all necessary materials, and schedule adequate staff for the timely and efficient completion of your project.
How do I know you will do what you say?

We place everything in writing for your documentation: the proposal, the installation process, your warranties—even our promise to the clean up after ourselves.

What is your warranty?

We guarantee our workmanship for ten full years—in writing. And we unconditionally support manufacturers’ warranties during that time.Beware of contractors who, only after a year or so, will hold you responsible for labor on warranty work that’s solely attributable to materials that they selected.

How do I pay?

Payment is due only after the project is completed to your complete satisfaction. We do require a 30% deposit if you are not financing or going through insurance for materials or labor, although we might require a small down payment on special order items. We accept checks, all major credit cards, and additionally offer interest free, short term financing to qualified customers.

Have you ever worked with insurance companies?

Your insurance company knows our work—and we know their processes. As a regulated industry, insurers have lots of rules, policies, and protocols that need to be followed before they can disperse funds. Problems arise when contractors are strange to your insurer—or don’t know how to communicate with them. In contrast:

What if your estimate is wrong?

We do not give estimates. We give proposals. Your Genesis estimator will provide you with a written, guaranteed, fixed-price document that includes a detailed breakdown of the recommended work—to the penny. What do you have in place for quality control?

Genesis Exteriors employs a fulltime quality control supervisor whose primary job is to ensure that any roofing, siding, window, door, or gutter installation project we complete meets a strict set of written standards that we explain to you in advance of your contract. Such standards include but are not limited to: Precise estimates, photographic verification before and after the sale, 29-Point Inspection, and free 10-year warranty.

What can I expect once my project is finished?

You will be taken on a comprehensive walkthrough tour of your finished project. We will also solicit your candid opinion about our workmanship and processes with a paper-and-pencil customer service survey. And as always, our fulltime customer service personnel, field consultants, and quality control manager are dedicated to your complete satisfaction—and maintaining the Genesis reputation for honesty, personal attention, excellent service, and quality materials.

How do I know if you have enough Insurance and if it is valid?

Our field consultants carry an Evidence Portfolio that contains proof of insurance documentation in the amount of 2 million dollars.

What happens if I have a problem after you leave?

A guarantee is only as good as the company that backs it. Genesis Exteriors— and our sister company Genesis Painting—have been in business since 1992. We have dedicated customer service personnel, field consultants, and a Quality Asurance Manager whose primary mission is to guarantee your satisfaction.

What Brands Do You Work With?

We source only premium brands such as Soft-lite, Norandex, Mastic, James Hardie, GAF, Owens Corning, Anderson, Marvin, Pella, and LP Smartboard. This allows us to unconditionally support your manufacturers’ warranties, which simply means that we’ll fix any warranted roofing, doors, windows, gutters, or siding at no cost to you during our ten year guarantee—even if the problem has nothing to do with our workmanship. You’ll never get an argument from us that “it’s not our fault”.

Do you have references?
